Spiti World Network – 2nd Annual General Meeting

The 2nd Annual Meeting of the Spiti World Network was successfully held on 26 February 2026, marking an important milestone in the network’s continued development and strategic expansion.

Particular emphasis was placed on the proceedings of the General Assembly, which were honored by the presence of representatives from the Embassies of Tunisia, Algeria, and Montenegro, as well as online interventions from representatives in Malta. Their participation underlined the growing international dimension of the Network and its strengthening diplomatic and institutional ties.

During the Assembly:

  • The process for the integration of new members into the Network was formally presented

  • New partners introduced their activities and areas of expertise

  • Elections were conducted for the appointment of the new Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 term

  • The participation plan in major international tourism exhibitions was validated

  • Strategic directions for geographical expansion and coordinated action were discussed and endorsed

The meeting reaffirmed Spiti World Network’s commitment to structured growth, international collaboration, and the development of meaningful synergies across destinations and markets. With a renewed Board and a clear strategic roadmap, Spiti World Network continues to move forward with confidence, strengthening its role as a platform for cooperation, innovation, and sustainable tourism development.

More importantly, we are proud to announce the addition of two new members to the Spiti World Network, further strengthening its international presence: Jelena Mcrela from Dalmatia Aeterna (Croatia) and Sana Souguir from BTT (Tunisia). Their participation brings valuable expertise and regional representation, enriching the Network’s collaborative spirit and global perspective.
